Dr. Kendall Merrill
NUCCA/Grostic Chiropractor & Owner
Dr. Kendall Merrill was born and raised in Florida and grew up receiving chiropractic care from a young age. At 11, she developed scoliosis and later underwent corrective spinal surgery at 14 - an experience that shaped her passion for becoming a thoughtful, gentle, neurologically focused chiropractor.
Dr. Kendall earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus, graduating magna cum laude. She is certified in the Grostic Technique by the Grostic Procedure Society and Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), with additional training in infant and pediatric evaluation and care. Dr. Kendall remains committed to continually refining and advancing her skills through ongoing education and advanced seminars and contributing to research. As the owner of Atlas First Chiropractic, she is passionate about supporting individuals and families of all ages through gentle, individualized chiropractic care. Outside the office, Dr. Kendall enjoys staying active, spending her time with loved ones and caring for her bunnies.
Dr. Jerry Sweitzer
NUCCA/Grostic Chiropractor
Dr. Jerry Sweitzer was born and raised in Orlando, FL. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Logan College of Chiropractic and a Doctor of Chiropractic (magna cum laude) from Palmer College of Chiropractic. His postgraduate studies were in radiology, physiotherapy, orthopedics, and neurology. Dr. Sweitzer continues his education in Florida Laws and Rules, documentation, ethics, risk management, as well as attending numerous seminars of well-known upper cervical educators. In practice since 1977, Dr. Sweitzer exclusively uses the upper cervical Grostic/NUCCA technique. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Sweitzer enjoys spending time with his wife and three grandsons, relaxing on the beach, fishing, boxing, and weight training.
Corey Burgh
Licensed Massage Therapist
Corey Burgh has practiced massage therapy since 2008 and brings more than 15 years of experience to his work. His focus includes sports recovery, deep tissue therapy, and rehabilitation in clinical settings.
He has worked alongside chiropractors and understands how soft tissue treatment affects joint movement and alignment. His work helps reduce muscular tension so patients are better prepared for their adjustments.
At Atlas First Chiropractic, Corey provides massage therapy and mobility work based on each patient’s condition and treatment plan. His goal is to help patients move with less pain and greater ease in their daily lives.
Outside the office, Corey stays active through cycling, strength training and enjoys Orlando’s local music scene.
